Well, the little guy is over 3 weeks old now and in true boy fashion he likes to spend a good portion of his day eating. From what I know of boys it will just get more intense (and more expensive) from here. It's neat though, getting to bond with him in that way. I have something he needs that no one else can give him. He certainly knows his mama too, he starts to smack his lips and wiggle around when he hears my voice. As an added bonus for me, his constant desire to eat means I am back in my regular clothes for the most part. Thanks buddy! :)

Something I didn't consider? Planning my wardrobe for feeding him. Sure, I bought A nursing bra, but that was about it. Turns out you need many nursing bras and nursing tanks! Trust me on this, when your screaming child wants to eat, you want something that gives you easy access to what he wants!

As I was unsure of my size I used the size chart on the site. For the tank it worked great, for the bra I think I should have measured before a feeding session and not after. I think if I went with my usual size that would have worked too. Both the tank and bra are very comfortable. I like not having wires! The tank is especially nice because I can keep my stomach covered while I feed him, which makes me feel more comfortable. Both items were high in quality and very reasonably priced. Also, both items were easy to hook and unhook one handed, which is very important particularly when dealing with a tiny baby who needs my full attention! The bra looks like any traditional bra and is not as high cut as many on the market, making it easy to wear with most things. It looks smooth under shirts, even with nursing pads inside. The shipping process was ultra fast, which is nice when you are in need of nursing items like, um, yesterday.
