So I was thinking, why can't anonymous comments ever be like...
"Wow, you are totally hot."
"Have you lost weight? I think so."
"You are the best blogger in the entire world."
I mean I would much prefer that to the catty-ness of the comments I get sometimes. Then I remember this blog community is mostly women. Some of these women, just like people we know in "real" life, have nothing better to do than be bitter. Bitter and ridiculous. I saw this week that even Kelly from Kelly's Korner has been dealing with this ridiculousness. Bleh.

I am so tired of catty women!! I have been dealing with it lately, but I am not feeding into their drama. My husband is deployed and I am only worried about him and our 2 children. Some people feed on drama. I have anonymous turned off on my blog!! No time for drama!!
Gah. Silly, mean people. I only got one rude anonymous comment and that was enough for me, so I closed comments unless they could at least produce some sort of a name.

I know what you mean. So far I've been pretty lucky not to have too many mean or bitter comments but recently I just went ahead and changed it so I have to approve all of them. Hang in there with that busy schedule!

Rude comments always suck and they never make sense as to why someone would take the time to leave a comment with no name.
Never understood why people have time to leave rude anonymous comments - if you don't have something good or at least constructive I was always taught to say nothing!
I do believe strongly in karma - those who are mean to you will have bad things happen back to them!

I find it much easier to be friends with guys. They are laid back, they are truthful and if they have something nasty to say they will say it right to your face. Much more my style. Cattyness is sooooooo not my style! lol :) Have fun!
lol. I completely got rid of the ability to leave anonymous comments on my blog. I was getting some pretty ridiculous ones a while back. I think if someone doesn't have the balls to own up to what they are saying on my blog, then they don't have the write to say it in the first place.
