Well, I made it to Italy safe and sound yesterday! Just a quick 1 hour flight.
On the way down I sat next to an Army couple stationed in Kansas, in front of an Air Force guy stationed in Italy, and across from a lady that work for USAA. Do you think there is a little bit of an American presence here?
My sweet husband picked me up, and it was sooo good to see him! He is my best friend for sure, and I miss him when he is gone. Then we headed to eat, Italian food of course! I had a bottle, I mean a few glasses, of lovely Moscato and just enjoyed being in Italy with my husband.
Today Jordan is off to work, and I am shopping with the wives. Tonight is the ball! Yeah!
Forgot to mention:
1. Flying over the Alps is INCREDIBLE. I almost cried. Twice. The turbulence is also incredible. Worst of my life.
2. I sent the note home to the parents saying why their child is learning sign language, and what they have learned. I didn't have to do it, it was my choice. It was my little way of saying, "I know what you said, now keep you mouth shut." Hopefully she shuts up now.

Hahaha, "I know what you said..." You crack me up!
Have a wonderful trip! Take (and share!) lots of pictures.
4 more months? Are you coming home soon!?
I love flying over the alps...but I always think "wow, this would be a pretty terrible time to crash..."
I bet flying over them is cool. I only took a train through them. And at night :-( I have flown over the Andes though. It looked like they were close enough to touch! So cool.
You go Girl!!! I don't have to deal with parents to much, thankfully my TeamKid parents don't have to many worries atleast none that have been annouced to me! However, I do have to deal with crazy people on payday' I do the Payroll at my office and feel like "well if you do this then I'm going to do this and I don't want to hear another word!" Point is I know how you feel....so good job!!
can't wait to see italy pictures!
Thanks for the advice...several people I work with go to Goldberg and recommended going there. I wish I had taken her there to begin with :(
I'm going to call first thing in the a.m.!
Glad you made it safe and sound!!!
I hope you are right and that the parents get off your back now. That was awful of them to do in the first place. Some people...UGH
I hate turbulence. I refuse to admit that i've ever been airsick but I will never again fly over india during monsoon season. *shudder*
Good for you writing that note! Maybe next time that parent has a question or issue they'll bring it to you first instead of the PTA!
