Here are some of the questions you have asked recently...
1. Will you be moving back to the states soon and doing classes online? (asked in some form by Typ0, Sassy E, Gleatie, and Becca)
We will be PCSing in 2010. We are hoping for a remote and then somewhere warm. Of course, we never know. Because of this, I will be taking classes online. Luckily, UNT offers the degree online with the exception of 2 weeks during 1 summer.
2. Do you mind if I follow your blog? (asked by High Heels)
Of course not! You will help me make-up for Toodles and all the other people who go psycho when you express an opinion other than their own. I mean, if someone wants to have no life, kick cats, or wear ugly clothes- I am going to have an opinion. Hopefully you appreciate this enough to keep following. :)
3. Did you go on a Gondola ride in Venice? (AB Typ0)
We did not. Unfortunately, it was not in the budget. Did you know they run around 150 euro?! We did a water bus instead. Not quite as romantic, but we still got to see the sights. Oh yes, and see Croatia. For less than it cost to ride a gondola!
4. Where did you get your white coat? (AB New Girl)
This is going to surprise you. I got it at Old Navy! On sale! I saw a lady at church with a white coat and really wanted one. This one is perfect. Silky lining, nice winter white color, and the right price. Although, I am a little peeved at ON at the moment. My order from January still hasn't arrived!
Okay, that's all I think!

I've heard that those gondola rides are crazy expensive..and that the process for becoming a gondolier is quite exclusive and rigorous. I bet they make a killing!
I would LOVE to come bake for you! =)
Wow, i ask a lot of questions. Sorry about that. LOL
Gondolas: WOW! That's insane! I'm glad i rode one at the Venitian in Vegas because there is no way Hubby would EVER shell out that much.
I went on a fake gondola ride on a lake once. It was interesting to say the least. If I had liked the guy that took me on it, it probably would've been romantic.
(I made my blog private but would love if you wanted to keep reading it [or start since I read yours and]! Send me your email address so I can invite you! :)

Thanks for answering my question, I know they let families move to other countries that aren't in war zones, like Germany, but I didn't know if they would let the couple move into a war zone together unless both were in the military and deployed there. My husband has also said that civilians do some jobs for the military, but I wasn't sure if it was locals or not. My husband's getting deployed this summer, I have no desire to go w/him, so I'll be using this time to live on my own (first time to do that) and do other things I know he wouldn't want to do w/me.
Haha thanks for the shout-out...No, I don't kick cats and I do have a life, so we're okay there. And I'm pretty sure I don't wear ugly clothes but that's always up for debate...Either way, I like a broad with an opinion.
hahaha... shaken adult syndrome... hahaha... you are a funny funny woman (..."broad?"...) I'm writing that in my Dorland's so I can have a laugh when I stumble on it later! :D
I did know a couple who "deployed" together, but they were both civilians and their kids had grown up and moved away. She worked for AAFES and I don't remember what he did. (It was a few years ago.) Last I heard, they were still in Iraq, and it was working out for them, but I think it is a completely different situation than with Daisy and her hub.
I used this tutorial to figure out the tabs :)

I just have to say I love your blog. You have an awesome personality and I just have to give you some mega kudos for being honest and telling stuff the way it is...
I personally wouldn't want to "deploy" with my husband and work at AAFES. I think it would completely distract from the mission. But that's just me. Plus don't they usuall hire local nationals for that stuff and not military spouses?
I'm not really sure what all the Q and A is about, because I've been out of the blogger loop for over a week...however, I can vouch for the cuteness of Old Navy's coats! The store is sometimes hit, sometimes miss; you can usually stock up on cute, cheap, colorful basics though.
Funny blog post. Glad that you are able to get "schooled" online.
