You are going to love the Colusseum! It was really awesome. Have fun... be prepared the people in Rome do not like Americans.

I saw your post about lurking. I just came across your blog today from BATW.
We have been in Germany for a little over a year (in the UK before that!), AF family, and I love Polish pottery too :).
It was fun seeing where you have been. We went to Cochem recently, but didn't make it to the other one (starts with E...) and I wish we would have now!
Enjoy your holiday. We have not been to Rome, only Venice-but it was fantastic.
